Monroe, NY Edward P. Wallace, 36, a 29 year area resident, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009 in Monroe, NY. The son of William F. Wallace, Jr. and Elizabeth O'Friel Wallace, Edward was born, April 30, 1973, in Brooklyn. Edward was the Director of Education Support Services for the Monroe-Woodbury School District in Central Valley, NY. Survivors include his wife, Amy J. Stapleton Wallace, at home; his sons, Aidan and Eric, at home; parents, William F. and Elizabeth Wallace, Jr. of Longs, SC; his brothers: Brian W. Wallace of Highland Mills, Kenneth J. Wallace of Otisville, and Daniel J. Wallace of Middletown; sister, Kate M. Raymond of Middletown; paternal grandmother, Jane Wallace of Brooklyn; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, December 18, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Rd., Monroe. Cremation will follow at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
