Dear Brothers and Sisters, 
 

On October 3, 2009 we are going to assist Orange and Rockland Utilities in the making of an access ramp for a child that was injured in an accident. We implore members to donate their time in assisting in this project.

This is in lieu of the United Way Day of Caring. The IBEW has been a long time supporter of the United Way and this will certainly “Make a Difference Everyday by Giving the United Way.”

In this tough economy many people need assistance. We know that the membership of IBEW-503 consists of some of the best people in the utility industry.

What are going to be needed are some tools and skills to help this young person and her family in everyday living. Again we want to thank you for your continued support and as we find out more details this will be posted on the website.
